My friend Alex from PolymomoTea also made a tutorial inspired by the year of the Monkey, so make sure to check his video as well! youtu.be/yG8xoRVNAiU This is a little bit more challenging project compared with my Tsum Tsum sock plushes tutorials, so if you are a beginner I highly recommend you checking this two sewing technique tutorials before getting started: Maqaroon: youtube.com/watch?v=Li5sjrDS7aQ Budget Hobby: youtube.com/watch?v=z4myn5GrPz8 I personally learned a lot from these awesome crafters, and I think they are a must watch for any sock plush lover. Other than using polymer clay to make the facial features of your plush, you can also use felt, embroidery thread or plastic beads. For the tail, I would also recommend you stuffing it lightly with some polyester fiber before adding the wire. As for the silicone, you can replace it with some craft glues like UHU or white glue, or sew everything instead of gluing it.
